If given the opportunity, I would not buy another one for TWO DOLLARS!! I used it in only a mild capacity at best on wood the first time and tin roofing material the second time when it BROKE! That's right folks. I said it broke on the second time that I used it. I could have rented tools for less than $100.00 for each job and ended up with a better deal.

The saw motor started making a horrible noise! I used it according to manufacturer's specifications. Cut up an automobile? I SERIOUSLY doubt it!! I am a fire department Lt. here in Washington state. I would never use such a faulty item when attempting to do a patient extrication from a vehicle or on any medium or heavy cutting job.

I initially purchased the Omni Dual Saw in the summer. I used it once in the following Fall. I did not use it again until later the following Summer. That is when it revealed its ugly defective head. I called the company's customer support. That was a contradiction in terms according to the experience I was subjected to in one call. I got someone who gave me the old OKEY-DOKE!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ONLY TO HAVE AN ITEM BECOME DEFECTIVE IN THE SECOND TIME YOU USE IT, THEN TO HEAR THE OLD OKEY DOKE FROM THAT COMPANY'S "CUSTOMER SERVICE!" There are many tools out there worth spending your money on which you can rely upon to accomplish the task at hand. The Omni Dual Saw is one that I have found to absolutely NOT be one of those said tools. I hope this helps you to learn from my mistake, and not waste your money. I do a lot of work on Jeeps and used to have to use a sawzall or grinder for cutting bodies, frames, bolts, etc. This saw has replaced the need for both in most cases. I think a lot of the people who complain about them "burning out" weren't using the lubrication sticks - there are two blades that are very close together moving at a very fast speed guys, and sometimes the material you're cutting gets in between them. That friction will heat it up fast, but if you keep those blades lubricated you won't have any problems.
